Lighting Practice w/ Deeana
Greetings everyone, hope you're enjoying the week thus far because I know I am. I have had this shoot planned out for a couple months now with Cassidy as I really wanted to work with afternoon light since summer is pretty much beginning to take its effect on Los Angeles. For this shoot; I ended up doing some digital shots first and moved on with 35mm film. Since it was afternoon time; it was very saturated so I shot with some Kodak Gold 400 in which the images came out with a very balanced color pallet all around while maintaining a very gold saturated that felt very lively and dreamy. Then I shot some TMax 400 in with the windows since the blinds were casting these shadows that went very well with this Kimono robe that Cass had on. Overall, the shoot felt way more creative than what I've had anticipated and the results were very exceptional. Thank you Cassidy for the collaboration and hope to work with you again in the near future.
