A Cold and Sunny Shoot at Echo Park w/ Lolita
It feels good to be productive again after a long hiatus in my part. There are a lot of things that have been going on; but I have been shooting though I haven't been like finshing my edits. I have at least four or five sets that I still have to upload; but heading in to the new year; I have everything ready for edit and uploaded by then for all of you to view and enjoy. I have been meaning to shoot with Carolina for a while now ever since I've bumped in to her on social media. We are of the same Guatemalan decent so our culture really runs through us and it is something that has us really close as of means of our friendship as of now. I rented out this place over by Echo Park where by the hills you can see everything from Downtown landscapes, to the sunset views of the Observatory. I shot everything on color film (CineStill 50D, Kodak E100 and Ektar 100). The color palettes on the stock had thrown me off when I am editing; but I managed to do the best to result in its saturated tones which came out much more natural yet colorful. What was more exciting was to push my exposure much more darker when doing the shots with the lamp. Made everything seem more vintage and way too warm. This is one of my more recent sets; but just stay patient and follow me as I have much more work that is begging me to post up in here. I thank Carolina for giving me the chance to work with her and I thank all of you for your tremendous support as I continue to create what I love to do. Happy Holidays and Can't wait to share more work coming in 2020!
