'No Pressure' 2020 with @argentinangel
Hello everyone; I am back! I wish I can say its good to see everyone touching in with my work under these unfortunate circumstances with everything going on right now throughout this crazy year. I can say I've been doing great; I had to take some time away from photography just because I have been dealing with some personal issues that I didn't want all of that affect my passion for this art form. But I felt ready to get back out here in to the city and shoot with Carolina. I've met her through Instagram but I know that we have a mutual friend whose name is also Carolina. I decided to hit her up because I have been following her work for a while now; so for us to finally work was a pleasure. This shoot was supposed to be shot in Cinestill 800T. Since I forgot that I didn't have that film in stock with me; I had to do this shoot with some T-Max 3200 film so by now you should know that the film would have some very strong grain. It still managed to work its part in giving me deep contrasted blacks and whites; perfectly balanced but I still managed to bump up the contrast more to give the images a bit more depth of what I intended to go for. I will say that I did get some form of confidence back after my long hiatus away from my camera. I have booked a couple of other models for future collaborations so stay tuned for that. But, as always, I have 'No Pressure' to rush anything at the moment. With everything going on in the world right now; all we can do is keep moving forward with a glimpse of hope to navigate you through the downfall of the year. I have had much time to self reflect and work on the betterment of my mental state. I hope, to all of you reading this, keep your head high. Focus on yourselves and your loved ones as I have been doing throughout the year. Thank you for tuning in once again to what I had to showcase, and I'll see you guys on the next post!!!
